Bio
Anish K. Mitra is a strategic finance professional and creative strategist based in Los Angeles. He was raised in Queens and educated at Brown University, where he studied economics.
His career spans investment banking and alternative asset management — at Barclays, Goldman Sachs Reinsurance Group, and Global Atlantic — where he worked on more than $20 billion in M&A and capital-markets transactions.
He is currently Head of Marketing and Brand at Drive Capital, a venture capital firm with over $2 billion under management.
His satirical storytelling about markets and culture has been featured in The Wall Street Journal. He speaks English and Bengali.
